After a long week of seeing Spotify wrapped lists with the same predictable lineups, the uncomfortability sets in.

You’re not as ecletic as you think you are. We all need a bit of help getting out our comfort zone of artists, so here are some picks for your playlist.

Hopefully next year Drake isn’t your top artist.

New Song

Peggy Gou feat. Lenny Kravitz

Latest track from South Korean DJ Peggy Gou

Gou’s dance tracks like Starry nights and Nanana keep you in a euphoric trance. Her latest track “I Believe in Love Again” with Lenny kravitz adds to her dance DJ collection with an upbeat pulse and melodies from Kravitz.

Peggy Gou is an international DJ that you should follow.

She drops records consistently, has great style, and always is in the mix with dope artists during festival season.

Young Artist with solid discography

Lancey Fouxx

Lancey is a UK artist known for implementing the grunge dark elements in his music that is come to be known for UK drill artists.

Although he hits his stride with that tone, Fouxx displays many different melodic, trance-like singing on his album Life in Hell, displayed on tracks like Spirit of X2C, Too Hard to Kill, & Casino Royale.

His latest album BACK2DATRAP is a mesh between U.K drill, rock, and alternative. Fouxx is in line to be one of the more popular artists in London behind Giggs and Skepta.

Tracks like Gogo Trap, Coupe GTS, & Ronaldhino are standouts of the album from the 28 year old London artist.

As artists become more global, markets like London will see a lot of collabartions from U.S artists. Fouxx’s discography includes features from Skepta, 070 shake, Kesh, Lil Yachty, and Sexy Redd.

Throwback Album

Cortex- Tropeau Bleu

This Paris funk band is the secret recipe for any daytime group setting. The legendary jazz funk tracks have been highly regarded for sampling in many of your favorite hip hop tracks, their work being used in over 150 U.S tracks.

Its a great midday listen with more than a few recognizable breaks.
